Anyone have any experience with rebuilding their Porsche engines or transmissions at Vertex Auto in Miami. This is the same company as Vertex Auto Parts. |

The transmission in my 944 was rebuilt by them - at least that's what the receipt says (done before I purchased the car so I have no idea what really happened). It is a bit noisy (but all 944 transmissions are). I've put about 40,000 miles on it - including one track day and bunch of autocrosses... I typically don't baby the car.
I'd say they're OK, but I'm only one person - I'm sure someone else has some experience?

I've bought parts from them and never had a problem. Their prices are competitive and their service was great.

Bought parts. Service and price were good.
You might be better off dealing with a transmission place one on one. I doubt they rebuild stuff in house.
