Re-threading oil pan..

My turbo has a stripped oil drain plug. One of many fun things from the PO. I really can't afford another 100$ oil pan. Has any attempted to re-thread there's?
Also if anyone has a turbo oil pan that is cheap??:)

Are they actually different? Perhaps the NA pan has a casting blank that can be drilled and threaded for whatever fittings you need?

Napa, has a, and caries a Drain plug bolt that taps a new thread kinda like 1 over sized. I worry about the shavings tho. i guess you could flush some oil tho. orilleiy caries like a rubber type that expands in the drain plug. both run about 5$ or so i think worth a shot.
