Air intake hose?
So I was under the car today about to start troubleshooting the AC when I saw this hose snaking upwards into the engine.
It appears to be a hose that connects to the air intake, the hose itself is black and crinkly, kinda like clothes drier hose, only smaller diameter. Should that be there? I don't remember one from my 1st 944, and it doesn't seem to make sense to have the air my car is breathing coming from inside my engine bay, shouldn't it be sucking cooler air? Thanks, GHEN

Thank you! On closer inspection it ran into a hard line which was 944.603.441.00, identified as an Alternator Air duct.
