Well outside the car is better than inside the car i think. It usualy means its time for a new master cylinder or maybe rebuild you're current one. I either get a new one or install a known good used one after a good flush. Might rebuild it. not sure were to get the parts tho but im sure the info is on the board here somewere. I think its just a seal and maybe a new piston if the current pison checks out and there is no scoring. Either way there is nice one at my local junkyard just in case.

There is a "weep" hole in the MC near the booster.

Your MC seals are shot
A rebuild is only possible if the bore is not pitted or scared.
Usually a new MC is required
When was the last time you flushed the brake and clutch system?
Use a DOT 4 fluid.
Here is a picture of my "weep" hole

Booster OK
If bad you will begin to hear a hiss when the brake pedal is pushed and released.

Get ATE or Girling MC/kit --The one on your booster do not mix. I have seen a new universal MC that works on either.

Get new reservoir grommets 2
The reservoir is old caution--if you break the nipples, the reservoirs are expensive

You might want to start looking at the soft line that supplies the clutch master cylinder with brake fluid before starting a 6 hr job. As the soft lines and plastic elbow that seal into the clutch master are high potentials for cracks, old brittle plastic and leak around the seal in or middle of soft line.

^ Good point.

You should also go under the dash and pull the rubber boots off the brake MC and clutch MC to check for leaking seals.
