Bell housing hangup

Hey guys,

I'm well into the clutch job now. So far so good.
Wasn't able to get the fork pin out so I removed all the PP bolts and the 4 Bell Housing bolts. Can't get the BH off, it seems to hanging on the driver's side near the top.I'm assuming there's one of those mounting sleeves up there. While looking at it, there is a sensor below the Speed Sensor bracket, it has a wire to the diagnostic plug up by the rear engine hoist ring. Does this sensor have to come out before removing the BH? I don't remember reading anything about it in my research and can't really tell by looking at it .Want to make sure before I start prying around up there. Don't want to do something stupid and break anything.

TIA,
Bruce

speed ref sensor has to come off before bellhousing can be removed.

after u get it off, cutout that part of the bellhousing where the speed red sensor has a hole. then u won't need to remove the sensor next time.

spd and ref sensors are out, I'm referring to the diagnostic sensor ( I think).

My recollection is that the extra sensor pokes through a hole in the BH. . .probably needs to come off.

Update
Got it out! I took the sensor in question out, but that was unnecessary. I had forgotten about the sleeve in the speed sensor bracket. Used a bent coathanger and pulled it up about 1-1/2 in. and that released the B/H
