951 Back on the road!!

Yeah!!

Finally, after over 3 weeks in the workshop my 951 is back on the road again. With:
- A complete new Sachs clutch
- A new torquetube
- New startmotor
- Fixed exhaust and wastegate
- New rear brakelines
- Belts checked
- GT3 GreenAir conefilter conversion

All in all it took 24 hours to do this, meaning a total of 3500Euro (!). This is about $3000. Well, it was worth it. Underneath the car, almost everything seems new. But whats even more important: the car drives like it has to. No more vibrations, smooth clutch, smooth shifting and with the new filter a cool sound but above all smoother in lower rpm's. I have to say the clutch is still slipping sometimes because it's still so fresh. But shifting at high speeds is so much smoother, it's great. My 3000rpm vibration problem (see other topic) has finally gone!
There are still a couple of things to do. I will give her some new brakediscs on the front, there is still a problem with abs, and some other minor things. Well, this car is actually starting to reach a porsche level, we're not there yet, but it's coming!!
