Hard to find an alarm module for 1990 944 turbo?

Water crept through the boot, followed the wire and filled my alarm module. Will it be hard to find second hand unit for my car and model year? Are there any modern units with remote locks that will fit?

1997 986 2.5L: 95 000 km/60K miles,

Might be tough finding one, but on a positive note the alarm module from NA's should work as well. Make sure that you get the proper part number, not "just any" module from a different year.

Don't follow the alarm disabling procedures that are described in the various 944 forums; it won't work for your car and may short out your harness.

Good luck, Keith
