944 Auto engine suddenly dies after left U turn. WTH ?

Hello all,

I faced a strange symptom twice tonight while driving my 83 944 Auto. Engine died twice as if it run out of fuel. This happened both times while making a left U turn.
Both times the car started after 1 minute without me doing anything.
What could it be ? DME relay ? What else ?

Or just run the track backwards....

Clogged fuel filter, loose connection.

if it was the DME the tach would die like you shut the car off. if it's something stumbling like fuel the tach would bounce around

Hello guys,

Thank you all for your help and ideas.
Problem is solved

It was all caused by poor contacts on the fuse box. I repaired it temporarily, and
Car works perfect now, but i think i will have to fit a new fusebox soon.
