Sunroof Prob

Having problems with the sunroof on my '84 944. First of all, I had the wiring harness under the dash replaced in the fall. Ever since then, the sunroof hasn't worked right. The sunroof tilts like it should only when the car is standing still. If the car is moving, 99% of the time the sunroof won't tilt. Also, the roof won't unlatch no matter what. Every time I want to take the sunroof out I have to manually unlatch it from the luggage compartment. Needless to say, its annoying! Is this problem related to the wiring harness or did a sensor go bad during the four months it was sitting in the shop?

I also had a problem with the "unlock" portion of the sunroof. It tirned out that I had a short from a poor radio installation. At first I could not think what these had to do with each other but there is a sunroof relay in the central electrics box that also has something to do with the radio and the dash lights. Sorry to be so vague, but when I cleared up the short the sunroof started unlocking again. So there is most certinally wiring behind the dash that interfaces with the sunrrof.
