They dim just like the OEM incandescent bulbs and use the full range of the dimmer potentiometer. They do not cut off, even at the full dim position.

Excellent! It's good to hear that they do operate within the full range of the pot.
I CAN vouch for the fact that manufacturing tolerances, slash quality control, currently lies somewhere between horrible and non-existant at this stage of the LED game. I recently purchased 10 E27 base replacements for household bulbs, and 2 of them did not work, right out of the box. That amounts to a 20% failure rate. You just have to put up with that for now, I suppose. But that number has got to improve, as time goes by.
