I smell Smoke

When I shift into gear at 4-5 RPMs, I smell something burring. Basically I'm driving the car a bit hard. Am I just burning the clutch or is it something else.

I don't see any smoke, just an odor.

Check your heater control valve and the coolant hoses at the back of the engine bay near the firewall. When these start to go they drip coolant into the clutch and on hard use you will smell burning from the coolant.
