Hi guys i need a little help..
My 924 had a leaky fuel accumulator, i replaced it, but its steel dosent want to fire up?!£$ i checked i dont see leak on the rubber air hose so the air delivery i think tight! as i took off the air filter and if i press depress the rubber part the little valve (gate) is lifting up. What i find that the temperature sensor (unit) dosent have continuity when i check with a DMM. Can anyone help me why it dosent start just runs for a secound or untill i keep turn the engine with an ignition on and the starter motor spins the engine. But it sounds runing and the exhaust blows. Like dosent get fuel after ignition.?! |

First diagnostic step on any CIS car is the last step most people want to pursue. . .buy a CIS pressure tester and check your system and control pressures. Without this information, all anyone can do is guess.

Is there any other a bit cheaper way ?!
Is there any common fault with this system except the fuel pump and accumulator fault those been sorted. I can`t buy this cis pressure tester, only from the USA £75 ... I tryed to lift up this plate valve thing on the unit by removing the air filter, but it just made it worst, it didnt even fire after when i put igniton on! Like didnt get any fuel ofcores cause no pressure.. so it means i do have pressure by the air and my fuel pump keep pumping every single time i turn the ignition on, i just dont understand what is wrong. Fires but only until the starter works.. what about fuel pressure regulator valve ... ?! is there any common problem with thise things Or there is no way i have to check the pressure ???!!!

Considering the number of Bosch CIS-equipped cars produced over the decades, I can't believe that you can't find one locally in the UK.

For a starting point to understanding the system, I refer people to this article:

You might be able to borrow a Pressure Tester from one of the forum members in the UK.
