Speed signal and reverse light switch
 

Hi all!

I've been enjoying a '89 944 turbo for almost one year and now I'd like to install a navigation system. The system has to be plugged to the speed signal and to the backup light switch.
Does anyone know the best place where to find this speed signal and this backup/reverse light switch?

Behind the stereo there is a couple of wires that are not used. What could be the use of these wires? Is there an electrical part diagram for late 944 available somewhere?

I believe both things will be found on top of the tranny. You will have to get under the car to find them.
