928 early calipers fit 924S?

928 early calipers fit 924S?

Would like to run 944 Turbo rotors -- which I believe
the 928 calipers will straddle on my 944 Chumps Race car.

Rock Auto has a smoking deal on some 928 calipers
and want to make sure I'm not buying boat anchors :-)

And yes -- since it's ChumpCars -- cost is an issue -- thus
the 928 calipers vs 944 Turbo

thx,

Mike

If you're talking fitting on stock 924S hubs with no major modifications, I'm all ears, too.

This is the part where I come in and say 944 brakes are very good, and no 'upgrade' is needed, even for a race car.

Well, we all know that, but it's hard to resist the urge for MORE!
Actually, if I just spend the $40 to replace my sticky front caliper, what you said would be perfectly true.
