HELP...Clutch job and Timing belt

Hi there,
I am starting to replace my clutch wondering how tough of job is it? Do i have to remove the transmission.? Any other advise you might have doing this job?
Next the timing belt. Is it hard to replaced the timing belt?
Would you install aluminum flywheel and centerforce clutch? Is it worth that much extra money? What would i gain?
Thank you,
Randy

Timing belt I would leave to a shop as it needs to be tensioned correctly.

No probelm, glad to help.
No experience with the flywheel or the centerforce, but I would imagine you would only realise the benefits if you were making big HP, thats my opinion.
I think the HD cup clutch from saches works well enough .

IMason, thanks for writing that how-to. I used it a few years ago when I did mine, and it was a hell of a lot closer than the Haynes manual. The haynes manual basicly says: Step 1, remove clutch. Installation is the reverse of removal. Not much help in my book, but yours was right on!

About 60,000 or 70,000 miles ago put a Centerfoprce disk in 924t. Got it on a clearence for around $100. Its been running fine with the Sachs pressure plate that was on car already.
