Simple badge question (must know before tomorrow).
 

My 944 is being painted and should be ready tomorrow.
They only have to put stickers and front badge in their place
but now no one seems to know what is the right place for the
badge (holes were filled).
I always tought that it was just in the middle of nose panel
but now after watching pictures of peoples cars I started thinking
that it might be closer to the upper end of that panel.

If you remember where your badge is located please tell.

From the top of the nose panel its 2 1/2 inches down (give a centimeter) from the top of the crest..... so the top of the crest will be 2 1/2 inches down.

fuel prices!!
 

i moved over to canada, about 6 years ago, from scotland, and was amazed to see the price of gas in windsor! after being used to paying around 3 - 4 pounds sterling, for a gallon, i was stunned to pay such a low price!
however, i went over to detroit, with a friend, and we stopped for gas. i looked at the price, and said to my friend: i thought gas was cheap in the states?. it is 90c for a liter! i was stunned when my friend told me that was for a gallon!! works out at about 60 pence uk!! i almost cried!!!
six years on, and gas in detroit about $1-34. probably translates to about 85 pence uk. the guy commenting on the high taxes imposed by various governments, was dead -on!!
