Smile Want A Good Laugh?

Check this out!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1819868069&r=0&t=0

If that doesn't work then do a search for item # 1819868069

So my NA has the potential of being faster than a Turbo? I think not!

Stephen

I think the only reference to Jack Daniels should be the amount the seller has been drinking......

Between this seller's feedback and the ridiculous price, you'd have to be.....no, I won't go there.

LOL, I actually saw that ad last night and I was thinking about posting it here. The best part is when he claims it is faster than a 951.

143hp 1984 N/a 944 tops out at 130. To get 160 you'd need something like 250hp.

Does anybody have an owner's manual handy? Check out the chart of engine rpm vs speed in 5th gear. What does 7000 in 5th give you for speed?

What a lame ass. Never mind the car but the grammar in the add. My 9 year old was getting a kick out of the spelling errors.

I told you guys -- most people think the 944's (esp. the turbos) are expensive cars! A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Misspellings on a BBS are one thing, when you prepare an ad, that's another entirely.

And lastly, tifosiman is correct -- there's a sucker (also can insert idiot, moron, dolt, imbecile, dullard, estupido, etc) born every minute!

This clown claims 7000rpm 5th gear at 160mph

Owner's manual charts 7000rpm in 5th at 180 mph.

I see two options:
1-Liar, liar
2-Re-geared 5th, put in nitrous, and faulty speedo.

I'd do a poll but I can guess the results.
