what coolant fluid?

Ok my car needs coolant fluid- This isn't just my first 944 but my first car so forgive my lack of knowledge of the obvious but what do I use? Thanks

Doesn't matter as long as it's phosphate free (safe for aluminum systems). I think Porsche recommends Amsoil but at $25 per gal, I'll use something else thank you.

Don't buy cheap coolant. It's aluminum and needs special treatment. All these cheapos say aluminum ok but yeah for how long. A good friend and porsche machanic says to use Texico DTE (i think thats what it's called). Good stuff

There used to be Prestone Phoshate free, a couple of dollars higher than other Prestone. I don't have a full gallon left & have seen none this year.
