Fuel Rail Sealing Ball

Hi, Trying to check fuel pressure on my 1986 NA, I've removed the cap and the sealing does not want to come out. Any hints or tips? Thanks!

Rap on the fuel rail with a block of wood and and hammer?
Spray carb cleaner around the sealing ball?

Place rag or container over port, blip the ignition key to crank the engine on and off quickly, and let the fuel pressure pop it out.

Disconnect small hose near fuel damper, use compressed air.

screw the cap back on - back off a turn hold a hammer on one flat side and smack the opposite side with an other large wrench or hammer - take the cap back off. - don't drop the ball.
