Antenna booster location
I know it is located behind the glove box however I would appreciate if someone posts a photo if in hand of it's exact location - I would like to see the wiring routing and the stud it is bolted to. This will help me a lot with my wiring work. Thanks in advance

I will be removing the dash from my S2 cab this weekend. I actually do not know what the booster looks like but if I spot it I will take a picture and post.

in the 968, only the cab has the booster under the dash. in the hardtop model, it's up in the headliner

I had my booster in my hand in my 951S and it was located up above the radio.

It is located by the right most air vent, under the dash. So basically on the right side of the glove box. There is a stud welded on the chassis that holds it on with a 10mm nut. Forgot exactly how i routed the wire when i replaced mine, but i followed one of the wire looms across.

wow - weird
yet another example of porsche, in their infinite wisdom, taking something that is perfectly fine and changing it just for the sake of changing it |

Well its not that weird, with the antenna in the windshield the connector ends up right at the bottom right corner, you can see it pass into the cabin by the battery.
Only the 968 had the roof mounted antenna.

Took the dash out today to swap in a nice crack free one. Here is the picture of where it is in my s2 cab. You can see it just above the abs brain (The big silver box).
