reflective dashboard??
 

i have an "84" 944, with the brown vinyl dash. now we are coming into summer {finally}, i am back to an old familiar problem.
with the sun high overhead, i find that the shiny dashboard, complete with grain effect, is perfectly superimposed on my windscreen. it does a most effective job of obscureing my vision! i know that there used to be a product for this problem, long time ago! any ideas's ????
any info greatly accepted{ before i possibly run into the back of someone!!}

I just installed a plastic dash top (to cover the cracks) on my 83 with a brown dash and it looks pretty good. I've noticed very little dash reflection. Protectants like Armor-all and Son of a ***** will make your dash shiny and relective but I think there are some non-gloss protectants available out there. If worse comes to worse, a carpeted dash might be your best solution. Although I'm not a fan of their looks.
