A/C install
 

I would like to install an A/C unit into a 1984 944. My 944 is a grey market car and was purchased by my father in Germany in 1984. I have found a place in Oklahoma that will sell me the entire unit. Has anyone ever done this or had it done? I live in the Houston area and would love to find a garage that has is willing to install it for me.

Is this a kit specifically for a 944 or some kind of generic kit?

I don't think it would be a big problem to do it yourself if you have the time, space and tools. Plenty Houston guys on here that should know of someone that can help you. Someone will notice this post and help.
