Crankshaft gear
I am installing a new water pump and had to pull the crankshaft gear to get the rear cover off. My question is . which way does the crankshaft gear go back on? lip in or lip out? I took this apart a while back and I cant remember.

The lip faces outwards, meaning the lip side is against the balance shaft gear.
