Low oil Pressure Please help =[

So I'm having issues with oil pressure still. I bought this car in january of this year and it had a blown head gasket. So i called the folks up on the site and they set me up with a Head gasket set, oil pan gasket set, rod bearings and new Oil pressure sender unit. new plugs new spark plug wires new rotor/distributer. New belts and new water pump(haven't installed yet old pump and belts are only 50%). STILL having low oil pressure haha. So i went to clarksgrauge.com and i saw a little test on what could be wrong and it said that if i pull the oil pressure relief valve off and crank the motor and if no oil comes out then that means my pump might be bad, now I've herd these pumps are pretty built proof so i want to make sure before spend 800 plus dollars that it is intact the pump. I did set the crank bolt to 155lbs already. i don't know what else to do so i hope your experience in 944's can help me out!

thats a used one, and I'm not buying something that is on ebay(looong story), why would that user be selling a "good" used oil pump? Id rather get a new part and have a warranty. Besides i like pelicanparts they always help me out. Im just wondering why i can't solve this issue. have any tips i may have missed?

Did you replace the seal in the oil pick up tube when you replaced the rod bearings? I have seen a few of those go bad in the 25 years I have been working on these. The only oil pump failure I have seen was on a race car. You may also want to replace the pressure relief valve if it the early design.

Were the rod bearings in bad shape when replaced? If so, your main bearings could be bad.

rod bearings were in good shape, no signs of wear to be honest, the head blew and she never drove the car afterwards when i pulled the head off the 1st time to replace it i could tell it had just barely blown one little cut and wasn't backed on easy clean up

Erm.. "Why would the seller be selling a good used pump"? Is that not obvious? Maybe because its good? Maybe because he can make money off of it? It is plainly obvious.

Ive bought hundreds of things off of Ebay, and never had any major issue... A lot of people are like "One guy screwed me over, so im not using it" But those people also forget that there is more than one seller, and getting a bad seller is very rare.

I just don't trust the integraty of the pump, i don't want to buy it and install it and have it take a ***** 3k miles down the road. 944online.com has rebuilt ones buy a guy who does 944 cars everyday for about 200 bucks and a warranty, a new one (if you looked it up on this site or on any reliable porsche website) is about 800 bucks or more.
