87 944S Almost Chockes when slowing down to a stop
 

I have a 87 944 S that has a little issue. I just got it running after a rebuild, and after the ICU and Computer died after a stuck starter motor.

The car idles fine (could be tuned slightly smoother) and drives fine, except when I slow down to an almost or compete stop. The car almost chokes (and sometimes do), the tac drops down to the bottom and the car looses all power.
It happens when I slow down fast from driving speed, like when I slow down to go into a parking lot, slow down to a red light or when traffic is backed up.

Anyone know what the issue could be here? I'm thinking something with the throttle but I'm no expert.

My car use to do the same thing...Could be a few things... check your fuel pressure should be ~50psi. Check vacuum with a gauge...then replace O2 Sensor.. also spark plug gap affects timing...
