Strange sound coming from engine...HELP!!
 
My car is making a strange (sounds like a rotating sprinkler) when I am accellerating in gear. The timing belt has not been tensioned for at least 30k miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Has your waterpump ever been replaced? It's the only thing I can think of in there with spinning water...... It's under the timing belt cover, if the noise is concentrated in that vicinity, I would bet on it.
