I promised my 924s a new paint job but I was lying. Nice card though.

It’s been 2 years so I flushed the brakes and clutch. Brake fluid was pretty clear but the fluid from the clutch slave was brown. I forgot to remove the cup under the fluid cap when installing the motiv cap and the reservoir was not filling quick enough and it pushed air into the clutch line and the pedal stuck to the floor. 10psi was not enough to push the air out so I gradually increased the Motiv pressure and at 20 psi it blew the air out and now I have a good clutch pedal. Next to bed the new Porterfield pads.

I got the engine out and on a stand. Now I have to tear it down so I can take the block and heads to my machinist.

Thanks Ernie, best wishes to you and your family also...
As for 2020, the year was certainly hard for many citizens of this planet. But we learned over these past months is that Mother Nature can rebound much faster then previously anticipated and smart people can make a difference within our society. Having mandatory shutdowns also allowed me to perform quite a bit of work on my 84'.

Happy New Year!

Just another project checked off the list today! The clutch slave cylinder that I replaced 8 years ago has been leaking at the base of it's bleeder valve - looks like it's due to rust accumulation.

New unit in and bled...
