I have seen shops make all kinds of horrendous mistakes. Mostly because they let some newbie fresh out of tech school get his hands dirty without supervising or checking over his work or worse yet - some mechanics are just plain idiots. I took my Ninja to get the carbs rebuilt and man oh man, those guys didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground and they've been in business for 20+ years! How, I have no clue, but they knew absolutely nothing about sport bikes. Now i have to take it to the dealer to have it fixed AGAIN!

Ordered a shifter kit from 944online, and expecting it here in the next couple days. Can't wait to get rid of the sloppy shifting!

P.S. You made me break my self-imposed rule of not buying any more things for the car till after the holidays. I just didn't want to run the risk of you running out of them before then! lol

Well there it goes again, hibernation for at least four months.Snow is here to stay & cold weather is setting in up here plus roads are getting cover with salt.Pour some gas stabilizer in the tank & plug in the trickle charger. From now on it will be start at least once a month -with driveway runs to loosen up everything.Winter project this year beside a good clean up bumper to bumper will be to remove the alternator & send it for a rebuilt at a nearby shop. For the last couple months it wasn't charging properly (nothing to stop you from driving around short distance but on a long drive don't know if it will have keep up).Anyway for the last three years the car has been without mechanical issues & not one penny was spend on parts so I,m not loosing sleep over what I consider normal maintenance.
Btw it's OFF TOPIC but will like to share this pics of a Groenland seal with you guys.Went diving around them a couple of weeks ago, females are playful & swim around you.But the bull as seen in the pics you got to be careful with them they are very protective if females are around.

Drove it to Oakland and back to take my friend to look at a Mustang. Car, not a horse. Got a thumbs up today on the street, and thoroughly enjoyed driving it a little hard and not working on it!

Very nice tint job Aussie 944s, I had my windows done a few years ago and the did a very good job, but the famous window separation took care of that. Now I have a 81 924 rear hatch that has to be tinted!!!

The guy that did mine said, being completely serious, that he would now refuse to do anymore 944's and that it wasn't worth the trouble, lol.

My tint guy said he would rather kill himself than do another 944 hatch. I've been begging him for years, I know he can do it, and do it well. The 944 is my only car that's tint-less...
