Looks good! I bet you're glad to get it back to condition eh?

I'm in the process of refreshing my car as well. What did you do with the seats? Did you order upholstry online, buy whole seats, or have someone reupholster locally?

I took them to a friend that has a shop and he custom redone my seats front and back a door panels and center console armrest for me. I replaced the carpet and everything else in the inside. It had tan interior. Now white.
Thank you

Wow...that is seriously very awesome. If you don't mind...how much did that cost you? I'd love to do something like that.

QUESTION:

How did you go about changing the color on the lower portion of the dash + glove box + center console edges? I have an 89 N/A with linen interior and I want to change it to a darker shade of tan, much like Savannah beige... BTW it DOES look good!

Hi there,
Thank you all for the nice reply's. I had the lower part and the center console lower edges painted with a special automotive interior paint/dye. I sanded the pieces very well so it would stick real good. They came out great.

Thank you chris,
I checked out your web site looks great. I would like to get into auto racing. I dont think i want to with this one, I dont know yet. I would like to make my exhaust sound alot better. What do you think of installing a test pipe rather then the cat. Is there enough back pressure with a test pipe. What is a good muffler to go with for a better sound? P.S. Where is Hersey located. Looks like alot of fun?
Thank you, Randy

Thansk for the kind words!!!! Well you can simply gut the cat and yes there is enough back pressure with out the cat material (ie testpipe) becuase our european cousins do not have and catalytic converters. Hershey Park Is in Pennsylvania and is pretty close to interstate 81. Best regards-chris

Looks nice. I dig white leather interior myself. I am curious as to whether it is full leather or just the seating surfaces? I am also curioius of the price, if you don't mind disclosing.

The stuff you painted looks excellent but I see flaws in the upolstery job. The bubbling on the sides of the front seats and the center portion of the rear. For 2k, friend or not, he'd be pulling it out and restretching the material.

I thought the same thing. But, he wanted me to get the seats mounted first and the back seats had to be mounted because there is no frame to work with and i just brought him the seats and door panels. Now that i got them home and mounted he is going to come over with a steamer and steam the seats and it tightens up the material and all the wrinkles go away. He is coming over this weekend to do that and then they will be gone.
Thank you.

That's cool. Question about the paint/dye. Does it scratch easy?

Looks great...the painting of the console, glove box, etc turned out sharp. Was that a DIY job, and where were you able to get the paint to do that?
