Pelican Parts Forums - Ahmet, seems like that turbo is running strong

Man oh man it's been a blast...

So far, the front brakes aren't working that well (makes it exciting when you have to slow down in a hurry), but they'll be on soon I have all the parts. I have about $5200 in the whole thing, including purchase, which includes the koni adjustible sport struts, bilstein shocks, roll bar, new master cylinder, braided ss lines, fluid reservoir, race pads/rotors, and a billion other things I'm forgetting.

I've recorded a 5 sec flat run to 60, a mid 13 sec quarter mile, and beat several cars both from a stop, and on the freeway. I won't be racing from dead stops anymore, if you will remember I split an axle not too long ago. Anyway, from a dead stop I beat a late model Mustang cobra, and a few older 5.0s, some were modified. I've raced 2 rx-7s, a trans-am, a Z28, and an SS. Haven't lost so far. I won't be driving too agressively because I haven't gotten a ticket in over 2 months, that has not happened to me since I turned 16. Just today I got up to about 115 getting off an off-ramp, just to be passed by a vw golf I just passed on the right after I slowed down, and he got pulled over 1 block later. Luck I guess.

Anyway, I'll post the 'up in flames' on this board with a bit more info. I should be posting an update in the next few weeks. I'm going to be busy with moving soon probably. I may start a job at a day care center, and will have classes everyday this summer so I'm planning to be busy...
