A Few Questions

When driving with the window down sometimes I feel like I can smell gasoline, is the engine running too rich or could I be leaking fuel? I don't see any spills where I park. What should oil pressure be (Moderate California weather) at start-up? After five minutes? I'm preparing to replace the coolant in the system and replace the transmission oil, anything I should be looking out for? The manual says 80 SAE oil but I was able to get Mobil 1 75-90W after seeing some forum users here use it... should that be okay?

Your hatch seal is bad.

75w-90 will work just fine.

Yeah, they shrink and create a gap in the back center where when you open your sunroof or window it pulls exhaust into the cabin because of the aerodynamics of the car.

I had that problem and when I replaced the inner shift boot (the rubber one) it got a lot better so I never fixed the hatch seal.

Oh okay, well the hatch seal I see here on pelican is over $100, so I can hold off on that for a while.

Apparently I need a GL-4 oil and not GL-5 like Mobil 1, apparently the contents of the newer style oil will ruin the transmission?
