968 in San Diego - any opinions - dealer
I'm thinking about driving down to San Diego (about ninty miles) to take a look at a 968.
Any of you So Cal guys heard of this dealer? It's a nice drive and San Diego is a fun road trip. I don't expect a PPI but I really can't tell from an internet picture if the car is trashed or what. All I want to know is the paint/body/interior in good condition. IF anybody is close by but if not... no biggie it is a nice Sunday drive.  And I think I owe one of you guys down that way a beer for running a carfax for me.

Scott - I can't help you but try over at 968.net. There are a ton of 968 guys over there and the forum is extremely active. Almost a guarantee someone will be able to help you out.

Thanks Dan,
seeing the as the 968 is high on my list I do lurk about over there also. I Believe one or more of the folks who post here are from or near San Diego and if they enjoy looking at cars they might take a peek for me. I don’t expect a mechanical inspection or even a 968 expert. Just some helpful info like “oh by the way the car was hit by a truck on the side you can’t see in the picture” or “the inside of the car was used to kennel Dobermans for two years, but it has been professionally detailed.”  I will also give the dealer a call and grill him with the usual questions, history of the car, service records, etc. before I make the drive.
