No horn any more

So, on my '89 944 n/a I installed a steering column switch unit and the horn doesn't work now. The part I replaced (lower unit in photo, p/n 928.613.313.01) has a "horn contact switch" but the new part does not (upper unit in photo). Is there a way to convert the new one over to having a horn?

I know this thread is super old, but did you ever solve this? I'm in the same boat

Looks like you could drill the rivet on the old switch and move it over pretty easily? Not sure from photo but I'd look into that.

I'd try that as well. The part in question appears to be super cheap but you can always add some new copper stripping yourself.
