Rubber Boot Part Number?

Does anybody know the part number of/where I can find the rubber boot that covers the connector that plugs into the turn signals on a 1988 N/A? I removed my bumper the other day and discovered that the rubber boots had turned into a to a thick sticky goo. I searched Pelican Parts, 944 Online, and Google and couldn't find anything :(

Thanks,
Jeff

Have you downloaded and checked the Porsche parts catalog?

The Protection caps may not be listed in the PETs. Or the PET will just show a variety used in the electrical section.

Try to find the cap that covers the windsheild wiper motor connection. I bet yours is cracked, brittle and torn up bad.
Pelican sells the Porsche cap for $4 special order.

Pelican Parts - Product Information: OEM-803957855B

Your protection cap/cover may be NLA or superseded to a later model.
Probably dealer item.
The number on my front bumper protection cap is 944 612 329 00 ---unable to find.

Thanks! It may be a while before I can afford anything that isn't free, though. I just spent about 500 bucks on parts :(

Jeff hopefully you pick up on this reply, or some one else may have got an answer here as time has past from the original posting.

So....I've come across this issue the "rubber boot" on the connectors situated behind the front bumper for Turn indicators/ Spot / driving spots all have cracked up and decayed, so more of us on 944s will come across this problem ;-(
These boots have a part number but not available from Porsche, I've searched various Electrical suppliers but nothing found, I would love to find a replacement boot rather that a quick fix with tape
or chop it out and replace with a replacement water proof connector!

Any help will be much appreciated guys
