944S exaust manifold ring gasket question
The 944S & S2 use rings instead of normal exhaust manifold gaskets. Do you just stick these in there and bolt the manifold on or is there any additional sealant required in there?
Thanks |

No sealant required...
However you could use "Ultra copper sealant just before bolting on the headers...

Make sure the groove that the seal ring goes into is clean. You don't need to put sealant on them, they crush when the two pieces are mated together to form the seal. Or you can buy the aftermarket copper gaskets from Lindsey, they are reuseable, where in most cases the sealing rings aren't.
