engine install with exhaust manifold attached
hey - i took the exhaust manifold off this engine before i removed it - thought maybe it could be fixed without engine removal but that was not the case - anyway can i now attach the manifold back on before installing the engine back in the car - is there enough room - the manuals i've seen say too remove the exhaust system before pulling the engine but i'm not sure if that also includes the manifold - thanks

You can install the engine from either top or bottom with the exhaust header on. It's much easier to put on that way.
May wanta take out Fans and/or Radiator to give yourself a little extra room.

We've always done it from the bottom with the exhaust header on.
You really do need to take both the fans and radiator off to get enough clearance.
