First off the car is 1987 944 NA 2.5l. I have fuel and fire but it will not start unless I pour gas into throttle body the car fires right up and purrs like a kitten for a few seconds. I got good pressure in the rail, good spark, new battery, dme relay, and a new fuel pump! When i turn the key on(but not start) I GET 12V ON BOTH PINS IN THE INJECTOR PLUG. Is 12v suppose to be on both sides?
![]() ![]() I had this car for a week and is the first Porsche i ever owned/touched. So any help is appreciated. Detailed information is greatly appreciated ![]() |

have you checked out the Mass Air Flow (MAF) the little box in the middle of the intake hose and the air box?

If the ignition is on, but the engine is not running, there will be 12 Volts on both sides of the injector. The DME computer drops one of the legs to ground to fire the injectors.
I highly recommend Clark's Garage Home Page and the Garage Shop Manual for troubleshooting procedures.
