Low Budget DIY Armest Recover
This is a simple do it yourself armrest recover. You'll need a bottle of 3M high strength spray aadhesive. I think a contact glue would work to. I used some imitation vinyl leather i bought a while ago for the armrest and sythetic canvas for the liner. I love the results and have enough material for maybe 12 armrest so if you like i can sell you both pieces as a set for $15 not inculding shipping. This stuff looks good and is softer than the leather.

I recovered mine a while back using this method. I built a wooden frame about 5" wider all around than the armrest. The vinyl was stapled to that. I placed the armrest on a pedestal and put the framed vinyl on top of it with some weights on the frame. I then took a heat gun and slowly heated the vinyl around the armrest. The vinyl stretched and conformed perfectly to the shape of the armrest. After the vinyl cooled I removed it from the frame and trimmed it and glued it to the armrest.
