sounds system
i seem to have blown the driver side rear speaker, anyone know what size and type of speaker that is? should be a pretty simple replacement, just dont know what to buy.

Most have 4x6 same as in the front , in some '87+ cars were upgraded to 16cm . Depth in the back is not an issue. I also changed mine last year ,got alpines in the front and polks in the back. The alpines are better than the 20 year old antiques that were in there before but nowhere near as good as the polks . Last month i got another set of polks to replace the alpines.

The speakers in our 944s are all 4" x 6", front and rear - unless you have the 10 speaker option. With the 10 speaker upgrade the rear main speaker is 6" round, with this option there is also a tweeter back there in the panel.
I like Infinity 4" x 6" for the most part - JL Audio speakers also sound good in our cars... My 2 cents...
