944 turbo caliper rebuild kit?

I have checked around at a few websites and searched on pelican but I have yet to find a website that offers a rebuild kit for 944 turbo brake calipers, front and rear, with all the necessary seals or even a good write-up on what's involved, anyone know of anywhere? Thanks.

944Online.com sells them. They are not cheap however as they include new pistons and the seals. You very likely will not need to replace the pistons unless you damage them on removal (hard to do). I have yet to find a place that sells the metal ring type outer seal seperatley without the pistons. I could only find the flexible boot type outer seal sold seperatley ($15 each). The boot type seal is used on the later calipers. Im not sure when they started using them, but i know the 964 4-pistons used them. However the 968 4-pistons i have on my car use the ring type.

To rebuild them, use 3 c-clamps to hold 3 of the 4 pistons in. Now using a compressed air nozzle with a rubber tip, shoot compressed air into the brake line hole, this will drive out the piston which was not being clamped down. From here you can pry out the outter seal carefully and use a pick to take out the inner seal ring. Clean the piston up and lube it up with the provided grease. Insert the seals (lubing these also with the grease) and put it back together. There are only 3 components, so its really not hard at all.

This place sells the flexible outter seal and inner seals separate from the pistons. You will have to measure the piston diameters prior to ordering the seals, i cant remember off hand what they are. It will be a combination of something like 36, 38, 40, 44mm in the front i think and 30, 28mm in the rear. Measure with a caliper to figure out what you need.

I looked around at 944online.com, I'm just looking for the rings/seals and not the pistons. I want to completely strip the calipers down to bare metal so I can powder coat them. Would it be possible to reuse the seals if I don't damage them removing them or would this be a bad idea?
