85 944 NA..how to take the bell housing off
what a rough day...
I dropped the transmission a few days ago.. today i took off all the bolts around the bell housing, and the four bolts on the square flange of the torque tube...and I also remove the pin for the clutch fork.... then I moved the torque tube back as far as I could and the bell housing came loose but it wont come off......I noticed that the shaft is still in the bell housing....but i think i have move the torque tube to the back as far as i could (the stop block position) DO i have to take the torque tube off the car....if so how??? Remove the speed an reference sensors. See Clark's garage for procedure.

You also have to rotate the torque tube to get it to the full back position.
