Added my Lindsey Boost Enhancer. Wow. Very happy.

I had a post on the "other forum" (seems odd, most people go to both) about the compatability of the LBE with the Autothority Stage II setup with the banjo bolt and .135 air correction jet as a boost control (raising to like 15psi because of the banjo mod)

I decided after a lot of thread searching and reading that I would be safer not to combine the LBE and the APE banjo, and took out the jet from the banjo Well, actually, I don't have a "banjo bolt" anymore like the factory one, I LOST mine while I had stuff torn apart, so I made a replacement from A/N fittings and braided stainless line I had lying around from my father's old race car and it all works fine. I even threaded the fitting for the air corrector jet.

Now my engine compartment looks like a A/N and braided line truck tipped over and dumped a pile of fittings on it. Hell, it looks OK and everthing works right. That's all I care about. Even looks kinda "racy", I suppose....even if it is overkill for a 15 psi/hg vacuum line.

Anyway, the LBE makes the power come on much sooner (a bit over 3,000 rpm?) and on the street or I would guess Autocross, that equals much useable smooth power, it changed the whole feel of the car without much drama, and I feel little or no difference in overall power on full boost vs. the "banjo bolt mod". Total improvement that fits my tastes and needs for this car.

When I get my track car, it will be an N/A for obvious reasons. The street daily driven 951 is for fast fun. I think I have a good, reasonable, and safe for the headgasket setup that does what I need. My only desired change would be to a set of MAX951 chips. I have heard better reviews of them, the Autothority stuff came in the car.

My mods are the Autothority Stage II, LBE, 3" exhaust with Sebring stainless muffler for the engine, and an M030 styled conglomeration of suspension upgrades like Koni adjustables and the like (not sure of swaybar measurements yet) and Yokohama tires.

Jeff

That's how I have mine set up, only I use the stock banjo bolt with the LBE.

Using them both in series delays the cycling valve too much that you can run into problems.

Cheers, Keith
