hey, while i remember, was that mechanic guy who claimed to get 285 hp non-turbo/sc from a 68 with modest modding full of bs, or is it something you'll pursue?

Yes the gains are definitely there, though 285 horse isn't very much for a lot of performance-oriented people. I never really said the modifications would be modest, I'll be pulling the head in a month or so and having some serious work done...we'll just have to see if I can get that much power. I'll be sure to get dynos. When are you planning on going to Washington? We've still gotta meet up and go for a drive before you leave!

Wow!

Damb...

I'm just waiting for my radiator so I can replace that and I'm good to go. School's out in two weeks so we can probably meet up the week before you leave. I'll give you a call.

Yeah, she's really hot. I thought her and Ms Cyprus were the two best-looking contestants.

Yes, she certainly is. I'd take either one, actually.

Blackfoot,

Your thinking of Snoqualmie Pass. We're in unincorporated Snohomish county, which is the county just north of the one you'll be living in, King County. The area we live in is a nicer, and newer neighborhood than what you'll find in the city of Snohomish (which is an older rural type town about 6 miles east of us).

I'd say, with light traffic, we're probably about 45 minutes from Renton.

Feel free to drop me an email once your in town. I'll even let you try to talk me into the Blackfoot look. There appears to be a pretty good 944/951 following up here...at least it looked that way at the last "Dyno-Day".... (sponsored by one of Pelican's competitors).

Marc
