Dose anybody else oil cap say OEL on it??
just wondering why mine says OEL and not OIL??

ahhh got it, Thats funny how thats the only thing like that that is spelt in German. all the rest of the lids/caps are written in english.

That's my favourite one also.
The cap should have said "ÖL", since that's how it's spelled in german. But I guess "OE" replaces the vowel "Ö".

Im always waiting for a pilot to ask me what the L10 cap is for...keep in mind these guys will fill up the oil tank soo much that it looks empty... then complain they are out of oil.

Umlauts can be fun. In our crew there's 'stupid', 'stooopid', und zen 'schtooopid mit ze umlauts' which, of course, means collosally stupid...

My father's parents are both German and I spent some time studying the language because of that heritage, but personally I'm a corn-fed Midwesterner.
