A/C and heat controls explination
 
I need someone to tell me what the top two slides in the attached photo are for. I understand that the longest one on bottom controls the temp, but what are the two shorter ones on top for?http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ps0bf032ff.jpg

It's actually described in your owner's manual (provided you have it) I can't see the picture since I'm at work

The left top slide controls airflow to the feet. All the way to the right is off. The right lever controls upper air defrost. There is air going to the dash vents until you turn them off.
