Row?

What does ROW stand for? Really Outstanding Weels (that the US doesn't get)? I couldn't find anything helpful when I searched.

Thanks,
Jeff

Edit- By wheels I mean the car. Not rims, tires, etc.

The cars with cloth seats, cosmetic only bumpers, and emit more pollution than a Chinese factory.

ROW = as Porsche originally designed the car before the US car Nazis got hold of it. Lighter, faster, higher hp, higher tq, no emmisions, less crash protection.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

haha luckily mine has't had that specific issue yet, but I keep a paranoid eye on that whole area since it's such a pain to put right once it goes...

Dont use the word Nazi lightly. You can bet that quite a percentage of people working on the 924 and maybe 944 design were Nazis.

My ROW 924S has leather seats(cost an extra £1007 new). As for emissions, UK cars once 3 years old, are tested annually for emissions and for every potentially dangerous item, so that weeds out once a year the worn out suspensions, tyres, steering & brakes, bad lights, rusted frames, jagged edge bodywork, cracked windshields, holey exhausts, frayed seatbelts etc etc that I see on US cars every time I visit.

we have the same, but for cars over 6 yrs old it is every 6 mths. new cars up to 6 yrs is once a year. But we dont do emissions, we do do exhaust noise (not allowed to be much different from stock noise levels) and there are modifications that are illegal without engineers certification (like coilovers, less than the minimum allowed ride height, etc)

We do have a "safety check". I know Hawaii does that annually. Not sure about other states, California just has that annoyingly strong emissions test.
