Farewell 944 Friends

Its been a blast owning/maintaining/modifying my five 944s over the past years. Unfortunately my time now is probably better spent doing more productive things such as working and billing more hours...lol

I've decided to trade in the 924S and sell the lo-cash 951. Grommit will be handling the sale of the 951 once he completes the clutch replacement.

I'm trading in the 924S on a new Boxster S which I'm very excited about driving. The "S" is black/black with 6spd and 18" 2 piece wheels.

Everybody here - take care! It was nice meeting so many of you!

Just currious what is the deal with the 924S? Miles color condition? What are the giving you for the trade value on the car?

You know, I would probably do the same thing if I had enough money to buy a boxter S but I think I'd hang onto the turbo...

That truly is a shame, I really enjoyed reading your trials and tribulations over the years. You really have put up with alot of grief and definatly do deserve that stunning black stallion. Glad to see you stayed with a Porsche. Good luck and take care Erick!

And thanks to all you guys for the help! I certainly learned a ton from all of you.

Of course I was pulled over tonight - on my first day of ownership! Turns out that 70 in a 35 is probably not the best of ideas on Sunset in Pacific Palasades! Cop let me go probably b/c of the nice girl I had with me. Talk about luck..

Take care guys!

And drop us a report from time to time on how that boxter holds up. Who knows, maybe more than one of us will end up behind the wheel of a boxter (in 50 years!).

Congrats on the Boxster man: at least it's still water cooled!!!

Don't be too much of a stranger: I'm sure you'll still be able to offer us lots of technical advise....

At least tell us how it compares to the 951's you've owned in terms of performance.
