i can't comment on it publicly until the manufacturer officially refuses to deal with the problems. i already contacted them about one of the design flaws, and they refused to do anything about it. i will be contacting them about the latest one, and see what they say. then i can post the details.

the bottom line is that i have now seen 4 failures due to the first problem, and 3 due to the second. pretty scary stuff. there is a fix for both problems, but it requires some machine work.
