Here's an obscure question; Electric mirror transmissions from 86 on have a small nylon drive rack with a plastic ball (about 3/32" diameter) at the end connecting the motors to the gimbal that possitions the mirror.
These break between the ball and the little gear rack. Somewhere there has to be a small bag full of these right and left drive links. Any ideas??? Seems stupid to spend $300 on a mirror transmission when all one has to do is replace a 50 cent part. Yeah, yeah, "German" engineering.

Here is a scan of the broken link.
Anyone have a dead mirror transmission they can check for me?

I've got a bunch of parts I need to clean from a storage space by mid next week, I'll let you know if I kept the drive assy. from one of the mirrors I replaced on my turbo, think it was the driver's side.
