Speed sensor VS reference sensor

Sensors are the same. Search for "Facet 12141710668" if you'd like save a couple bucks.

BMW part?

Right now ******** has the Delphi SS10001 sensors on clearance for $30 each(give or take, I can't remember the exact price). I got a pair for my 944 and they worked perfectly. I think they're the ones that are actually designed for a BMW application, so the wire is an inch longer or so, but I can't tell the difference with them installed. Just go to part number search and search for SS10001.

Yup, BMstupidW wires will fit in the 944. Have them in mine. Difference is that the Porsche wires are just a little shorter. Haven't given me problems in the 2.5 years they've been in there

You can also order the FAE brand sensor right here from Pelican for half the price of the Bosch:

Isn't FAE also super crappy?

I ordered the plastic BMW ones from Pelican, has been working fine since doing my clutch last year.
